When Tom – a member of our founding family – led our organization, he helped create a culture rooted in three things he thought were incredibly important to our business: people, performance, and relationships.
This award started in 2008 honoring his namesake and how his spirit lives on in the next generation of employee owners. This year has been an extraordinary one, and we felt as an organization that two of our teammates deserve to be recognized with this honor. Therefore, we are proud to announce that Jason Oldham and Spencer Borghoff have been awarded the Thomas D. Sanders Award of Excellence. Jason Oldham joined the MW Builders family over 19 years ago and has been paving the way for success in projects, relationships, and company culture ever since. As Vice President of Operations, Jason promotes consistency and accountability across all offices, is a steward for employee ownership, and is constantly striving for improvement in all aspects of the business. If you’ve ever met Jason, you know that he represents all that MW Builders works toward. He is an honest, dependable, and entrepreneurial teammate who understands and appreciates each person’s role. Jason is not only a leader in our company, but also in his community, and his well-roundedness, work ethic, and commendable character is something to be respected and honored. Congratulations, Jason!
Spencer has left a lasting impact on MMC Contractors in the 15 years he’s been with the company. Since 2005, he has proven his dedication to producing quality work, shown constant integrity during company high’s and low’s, and respects everyone he works with while maintaining a friendly and uplifting demeanor. Spencer’s reputation in the Las Vegas construction market is also well known and wide-reaching. He has solid working relationships with most established industry general contractors and attends industry events to increase brand awareness for MMC Contractors. Spencer is committed to upholding the standard of excellence that MMC Contractors has come to be known for, and that is evident each day he comes to work. He is a constant advocate for the success of MMC Contractors and has also directly contributed to the growth of the Las Vegas team over the past few years.
